Jim Rogers

Jim Rogers is a graduate of Yale University and Oxford University. He obtained renown status as investor in the 1970s when he, along with George Soros, steered the famous Quantum Fund to spectacular returns. Rogers then retired in his 30s in 1980. He took a series of ambitious long trips around the world, taught at Columbia University, and wrote a number of books on his investment philosophy. Rogers famously moved to Singapore about ten years ago so his children could learn Mandarin and thus have an advantage in what he sees as the part of the world with the most promise today.

Rogers speaks exclusively to Intelligent Talk from his home in Singapore on the evening of Thursday February 8th, 2018 after a period of prolonged market turmoil.
